NOVOMATIC AG, which also includes SIA “Alfor,” has once again received the prestigious Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4) certification. This certification is recognized worldwide as the leading standard for compliance with the highest player protection criteria.

The requirements for the G4 audit were developed by experts in the field of responsible gaming. NOVOMATIC AG committed to adhering to the G4 standard in 2019 and remains one of the few gaming companies globally to meet the rigorous criteria of this independent audit. As the G4 standard evolves continuously, recertification is required every three years.

The company’s management emphasizes that responsible gaming is deeply embedded in NOVOMATIC AG’s corporate DNA. By renewing the certification, the company has once again demonstrated that player protection is more than just a slogan. It reflects a deep sense of responsibility that far exceeds legal requirements.

Currently, the G4 certification involves meeting more than 100 criteria across eight key areas. These criteria cover virtually all aspects of business operations in the industry, including corporate standards and codes of conduct, employee training, player protection tools, socially responsible marketing and advertising practices, cooperation with regulators and stakeholders, as well as ensuring technological security and data privacy.

As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of gaming equipment, game developers, and gaming operators, NOVOMATIC AG implements innovative solutions to meet these standards. Ynze Remmers, G4 Lead Auditor, highlights:
“NOVOMATIC AG is a key supplier for other companies in the gaming industry. With cutting-edge biometric technology, robust player protection tools, and a commitment to global standards, NOVOMATIC AG sets the benchmark for player safety while driving innovation across the gaming sector.”
