On 16 May 2023, a new art and design four-star superior hotel, Aston Hotel Riga, opens in the center of Riga, at 48/50 Brīvības Street.
The hotel with 54 rooms, a restaurant, a roof terrace and a lobby bar will offer sofisticated and modern hospitality and entertainment services for guests and residents of Riga.
The target audience of the hotel is both business, holiday and leisure travelers who want to explore Riga's urban, historical and gourmet offer.
Together with the opening of the hotel, the KITSCHen restaurant with a wide roof terrace, which opens up a view of the roofs of Riga's art nouveau buildings and the Esplanade, begins its work. KITSCHen offers a seasonal menu concept, and is also open for breakfast.
The hotel includes fully equipped facilities for business meetings, events and private parties, as well as a gym, parking and electric car charging station.
The facade of the building is a valuable testimony of constructivist architecture, which was completely preserved and restored. In accordance with the history of the building, in the public areas of the hotel and in the restaurant display the paintings of Latvian artists from the late 1960s to the present day.
